About this Process

Remodels and Add-ons builders in the Reno/Tahoe surrounding areas the process of a remodel

Remodeling your home is an exciting opportunity to make your dream house come true! But before you start tearing down walls, it’s important to consider the process and what to expect.

The first step is to get the right team on board for your remodel. Whether you’re looking for a full-service interior design firm or just some help with some design elements, there are plenty of options out there to help you get started.

Once you’ve hired a team that has experience designing in your style and taste, then it’s time to get down to business: planning! You’ll need to decide how big of a project you want, what kind of changes will be made, where they’ll be made, etc. Your architect or designer should be able to walk you through this process so that nothing gets lost along the way (and so that nothing gets missed!).

Then comes the fun part: demolition! If there’s anything in your home that needs fixing or replacing, now is the time to do it. This might involve getting rid of an old kitchen cabinet or pulling up carpeting from below stairs; whatever it

    F.A.Q.

We use energy-efficient home-building techniques and a lot of recycled materials to build our homes. This helps us build homes quickly, while also respecting the environment. You can find all the details in our FAQ section!

Is it okay to visit my home while it's under construction?

Yes! We encourage potential buyers to visit their homes as often as they like during construction. It’s important for us to keep you informed throughout the whole process so that we can address any concerns or questions you may have before anything is finalized!

Do you use energy-efficient home-building techniques?

Yes! We use the same methods that our clients would use if they were building their own homes. We work with the local utility company to offer rebates and incentives so that our clients can save money on their energy bills.

What do I need to know before I buy land to build a home on?

You should make sure the lot is in good condition and well-maintained, with a proper water supply, power lines, and septic system. You may also want to check with your local zoning board about any restrictions or regulations for building on the property.

Do I need home owner's insurance when building a home?

Yes, you need home owner’s insurance when building a home. The reason for this is simple: if someone gets hurt on your property or if your property is damaged during the building process, you will be responsible for paying for any damages. This can be very costly and could even lead to legal problems if nobody has insurance coverage.

What is the price per square foot of the homes you build?

The price per square foot of our homes varies based on a number of factors, but the most important thing to remember is that we will work with you to ensure that you get the home that best fits your needs at an affordable price.
